Empowering the
Recovery Community
The recovery community desperately needs collaboration and innovation on the employment front. By creating a consortium of businesses, state and county governments, healthcare networks, recovery residences, colleges, and other stakeholders, we are aligning to create these innovative solutions together.
Our Vision
Our Vision
Roughly 23 million people in America are in recovery. Many face challenges finding employment due to misconceptions about what recovery means and the lack of a visible support structure in the way of job placement services and Recovery Friendly Employers (RFEs). Together, we can work to break the stigma by helping those in recovery find meaningful jobs and community.

When I came out of treatment, I was lucky to find a job with a good group of people that helped me in my trajectory towards maintaining long term sobriety. I know how important a job can be for providing purpose and community. A lot of people around me weren't as lucky. I want to make sure others have the same support I did.

Jobs change lives. Working with those in need, I've seen it firsthand time and again. Getting people in the right jobs is the missing piece here. And it's what we're going to do for the recovery community.

I have always been a fan of people re-inventing themselves- at any age and for any reason. So when I met Alex, Jim, and Kim, I connected immediately to their purpose and tactical approach to solving a real problem seen firsthand- helping those in active recovery find a job and build a career.

After over a decade in the talent acquisition industry, it's clear to me what a huge opportunity we have with Recovery Jobs. We aim to bridge the gap between employers looking to hire and people in recovery seeking employment.
